It's always a good idea to consult with an orthotics specialist before committing to surgery, and in cases where surgery is unavoidable, for your surgeon and orthotics specialist to work together to aid recovery. Back surgery can be very dangerous, moving or sitting incorrectly after a back operation could result in permanent damage, undoing all the good work your surgeon has done in the operating theatre. Here we can help by working with your surgeon to identify potential issues and how they can be prevented using an orthotic device such as a brace.
